Does the thought of presenting to a room full of colleagues fill you with dread? Whether you’re speaking in person or online via Teams or Zoom, this workshop is designed to help.

If you’ve ever needed to win a pitch, share your work clearly, or persuade others to your point of view, this session is for you. It’s suitable for all levels and for anyone who wants to become a more confident, articulate and engaging speaker.

You’ll cover the fundamentals of good communication voice control, body language and powerful connection. The session is interactive and covers both in-person and online presenting. You’ll learn how to create great content, get your message across effectively, and leave as a stronger, more confident speaker.

Speakers Trust is a charity dedicated to helping people become more effective communicators. They work to build confidence in public speaking, improve education and employment prospects, and empower people to use their voice to drive positive change in the workplace, at home and in the community.

“I attended the public speaking session and I just wanted to let you know how fantastic it was. Jenny was an incredible trainer and it has been the best training session I have ever attended. I really believe that her training will have an impact on my public speaking skills.”

Spaces are limited. If you can no longer attend, please cancel in advance so someone from the waiting list can take your place. This event is open to anyone who lives or works in Bankside, though priority is given to business members. If you’re unsure whether that includes you, please get in touch to confirm.
