On Thursday 20 May, The Bridge and Better Bankside are joining forces to celebrate summer flowers as part of Chelsea Fringe at this open air event.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn how to make flower crowns with The Bridge, picking up all you need or joining one of the interactive demonstration sessions at 11am or 2pm.
It’s also an opportunity to pick up sunflower growing kits to join in the Bankside Sunflower Challenge, with Better Bankside’s Urban Gardener Georgia on hand from 12pm-2pm for quick seed sowing tutorials and to answer your questions about how best to look after your seedlings, when to plant out your sunflowers and nurture them as they grow.
The event will be held outside at The Bridge on Southwark Bridge Road, in a socially distanced manner. For those who would prefer, flower crown and/or sunflower kits can be collected to take home complete with step-by-step instructions.
