Join Better Bankside’s Urban Gardener for our first indoor Gardening Club activity this year. We’ll be planting spring bulbs to grow indoors, to bring some cheer to your windowsill in the middle of winter. What better way to brighten up your space over the winter than with a pot of crocus, hyacinth or narcissus?
Bring along your own pots to fill with a selection of bulbs, or why not repurpose something else, like a mug, old jam jar or a small vase? There are lots of creative ideas for different types of pots and containers that make for great displays of early spring flowers. It’s also a good idea to bring a bag with you, to transport your newly planted bulbs back to your office or home.
Please also bring your own gardening gloves if you have them, but we’ll provide all the other materials and tools needed for this simple but effective planting activity.
