Bankside’s Frost Fair is back! SAVE THE DATE

The days may be getting shorter, the nights are getting longer, but Better Bankside absolutely knows the best way to chase away those winter blues- with connection, community, food, drink, merriment and, of course an elephant!

Yes, Frost Fair is back for Year 2! Celebrating the historic and truly unbelievable time when the Thames froze over between London and Blackfriars Bridge in the 18th and 19th centuries, in 2022 we re-invented the phenomenon with an interactive mural trail. This year, we’re bringing a taste of the actual event back to Bankside.

This January, expect skittle lanes, a craft market, Frost Fair folk, horse and carriage rides, music, dance and laughter alongside a neighbourhood wide food and drink celebration. And the best part? It’s on payday weekend, a time of joy for many.

So, SAVE THE DATE and get ready to beat the winter blues this January with Bankside’s Frost Fair, on Fri 26 January – Sunday 28 January, 11am-6pm.
