‘Drawing Breath’ – A workshop with artist Dryden Goodwin – connected to his project ‘Breathe’ produced by Invisible Dust.
Join acclaimed artist Dryden Goodwin for a workshop exploring what it means to ‘draw’ breath, both into our bodies, and onto the page. Considering the tension between clean and polluted air, in this 2 hour workshop, Goodwin will lead participants to explore mark-making to bring our bodies – and our breath – to life. It will explore the role of drawing in ‘animating’ us – both literally in movement on the page, but also as a community as we campaign for clean air.
Produced in partnership with art-science charity Invisible Dust with the support of the Slade School of Fine Art and the UCL Knowledge Exchange Programme
Ages: 16+
The workshop is FREE – Materials provided and you are welcome to take your work home with you.
PLEASE NOTE we have limited spaces so if you sign up and can no longer attend please let us know ASAP as there is a limit to the amount of materials we can provide.
