Banksiders, we can’t wait to welcome you back and reignite the buzz that makes Bankside so special and vibrant. We also understand that the last year has been especially challenging for Bankside’s hospitality businesses.
We’re counting down the days until 12 April when outdoor hospitality can reopen and we want to be a useful resource as you prepare. On 18 March at 1pm, we will host a briefing and Q&A with Southwark Council on outdoor dining and the pavement licence.
This session will be a great way to ask the council any questions directly about pavement licence applications or indeed seek guidance on expanding your operations outdoors.
The focus of the event will be on outdoor dining permissions however we will also cover a host of practical initiatives and services to support your reopening plans which include:
- Building consumer confidence in Bankside
- Available grants and funding opportunities
- Driving local spend – We’re Backing Bankside campaign and additional marketing support
- Hospitality staff wellbeing and benefits
