Last summer as we emerged from lockdown one we launched Bankside Bike Trains after hearing from many of you that commuting on public transport was a key concern at the time, as you planned returns to Bankside. We also know that many of you like to cycle but feel a little bit nervous on London’s streets.
Join the ride from various London train stations and follow qualified instructors through selected quiet routes to Bankside, and back, to practice your commute. Just bring your bike and helmet (helmet is not compulsory but recommended), and high vis vests will be provided.
All rides are free for Bankside employees. Routes have been risk assessed. Register for free here.
Lewisham Station – on the corner of Thurnston Road and Loampit Vale – Thursday 24 June: 12 noon – 1pm.
