Arch 23 is a renovated railway arch on the Low Line, fit for events, exhibitions and programming that would suit a semi-industrial space with versatile usage. Arch 23 works well for art exhibitions, social events, creative workshops and athletic classes among other uses.
Designed as a culture and community venue, the space offers a canvas that is easily adaptable for a variety of uses. There is free wifi access, use of interactive screen, microphone, speakers, and tables and chairs. Bathrooms are located in the neighbouring arch.
Site Specifications
The area inside the arch is 112.5m2, fire code allows for 100 people standing, 60 seated. Tables and chairs are available for use, and are to be set up by the hirer. As you may expect from an
arch underneath the railway, noise from the trains above can be heard within the space. Please take this into consideration when booking. We recommend scheduling a viewing before booking.
Premises license
You are welcome to serve food and/or beverages in the venue. Please notify us if you will be selling food/beverage or any other goods.
Catering
There is no in-house catering, all catering must be managed by the hirer of the space. There are mugs, glasses, cutlery and jugs for use in the space.
