Join us for Bankside Street Party on Wednesday 19 June.
Please note you must RSVP to attend and we have a max of 5 people per business!
We will be closing off Ewer Street, soaking up the summer sunshine (hopefully!) and lining the street with our BB pink tables and chairs. The street party will celebrate all of our local businesses with food, drink and entertainment throughout the evening.
Your chance to come and see Better Bankside in action!
For one night only, we’re opening up the shutters on the arches of our Sustainability Hub. Get an exclusive look at our Gardening Workshop, Cleaning Team HQ, Green Logistics Centre and Cycle Hub. The street party will launch our Green Logistics Centre and celebrate Clean Air Day coming up on 20 June.
Bring your bike! Between 17:00-19:00 we will be running our usual Dr Bike with NipNip where you can get your bike checked over and security marked by our wonderful Community Wardens.
This is your opportunity to connect with fellow Bankside businesses, learn what Better Bankside is all about and enjoy one of the best neighborhoods in the world (we’re only slightly biased).
Did you know that Ewer Street is part of the Low Line?
The Low Line is an urban regeneration initiative that brings to life the Victorian railway viaduct connecting diverse neighbourhoods through Bankside, London Bridge, and Bermondsey. Through repurposing underused space, both in the arches and adjacent urban realm, The Low Line is creating new opportunities for innovation, culture, connection and biodiversity.
