Better Bankside’s 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place on Tuesday 3 December 2024 at 5.30pm, held at the offices of Boodle Hatfield, 240 Blackfriars Road.
The AGM is an opportunity for us to share the highlights of the past year and to look to the future. The Better Bankside ballot is now open and all member organisations in the area are voting on whether or not they want the work we do for the neighbourhood to continue for the next five years. Our future will have been decided by the end of November and we hope to be able to announce at the AGM that our members voted in favour of a fifth five year term. We’re geared up to deliver our best ever programme in 2025-30. A yes vote will lock in £14m investment to deliver projects and services here in Bankside over the next five years.
There is a simple process to become a member of Better Bankside. In effect, we treat all levy payers as members, but formally joining Better Bankside will allow you to vote at the AGM. Membership of Better Bankside is open to all BID levy payers, and for others at the discretion of the board. All those retiring by rotation are eligible to be reappointed to the board.
