Our attitude to money can lead us to behave in certain ways when it comes to money. This can be positive, but can also lead us into self-fulfilling negative situations. This 1-hour workshop is designed to help you think about your relationship with money, challenge your mindset and build financial skills to increase your financial resilience.
The session covers topics including:
- Understand your relationship and attitudes towards money
- Recognise your money personality, spending triggers, habits and discuss how these impact on your financial wellbeing
- Introduce strategies to improve your relationship with money
- The importance of financial resilience
- Introduce organisations offering free, credible support and information
All attendees will receive a free digital copy of a Money Manual as a handy guide to making the most of your money, together with a signposting handout detailing the organisations mentioned in the session.
The workshop will be run by The Money Charity. The tone of the sessions are upbeat and non-judgemental, making no assumptions about attendees’ knowledge and ability. The charity is independent and impartial, meaning they never endorse or promote any specific financial products during their sessions or give any specific individual financial advice. Everyone attending will truly be empowered to make the best financial decisions for themselves and their families.
