Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Bankside community, 686 people supported by seven local charities and community‑based services will receive gift parcels this festive season.

Bankside businesses came together to support the Bankside Christmas Gift Appeal, donating to ensure everyone on the list received a gift parcel tailored to their needs. The gifts were wrapped and packed by more than 70 volunteers who gave up their time to help spread joy across the neighbourhood.

Special thanks go to the businesses which went above and beyond in 2025, including:

  • CoStar
  • Charles Tyrwhitt
  • Waterfront Law
  • Boodle Hatfield
  • The Keegans Group
  • Winckworth Sherwood
  • LA London Architects
  • Radius
  • Burgopack
  • Waterman Group
  • TP Bennett

A huge thank you as well to TMS, who once again supported Robes Project, organising gifts for guests at their Winter Night Shelters and Wednesday Club.

All the festive deliveries were made possible thanks to the brilliant team at PedalMe, who transported all parcels across Bankside on their famous pedal‑powered sleighs.

All gifts have now been delivered to the following local charities and community-based services:

  • Blackfriars Settlement Positive Ageing and Mental Health and Wellbeing services
  • Lucy Brown House
  • Robes Project
  • St Mungo’s Great Guildford Street hostel
  • The Manna Society
  • United St Saviour’s Hopton’s Almshouses

This year, thanks to exceptionally generous donations from Bankside businesses, we’re also able to provide additional practical items to these organisations—resources they can use throughout the year to continue supporting people dealing with homelessness, struggling with their mental health, and our older neighbours.

A huge thank you to every business and volunteer contributed to this year’s Bankside Christmas Gift Appeal, demonstrating kindness and compassion for everyone in our neighbourhood.
